Two From Mechanicsville Busted With $9K Worth Of Fentanyl, Police Say

Two were busted in Maryland with thousands of dollars worth of packaged fentanyl in St. Mary’s County, the sheriff’s office announced.

Detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Vice/Narcotics Division executed a search and seizure warrant as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation into Mechanicsville Kyle Dylan Dishner, 29, and his vehicle.

During the investigation, Dishner and a passenger in his vehicle, Larissa Grace Cataneo, age 31, also of Mechanicsville, were found with more than 126 grams of fentanyl in capsules packaged for distribution, authorities said

In total, police said that the fentanyl had a street value of approximately $9,000.

Dishner and Cataneo were arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown, where they were charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute narcotics;
  • Possession of a large amount of a controlled dangerous substance;
  • Possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not marijuana.
